Hard to say. Maybe Duisburg. It is a nice course and it is very close to my home town, Venlo

favorite adventure paddling location?

I don’t do a lot of adventure paddling but I love it when the dolphins swim next to my boat in Florida

most memorable experience paddling got you into?

I think it must be a race and I hope my best race will come in the next three years. So far I am proud with my 2005 world cup medals in K4 200 m and 500 m and winning the K1 1000 m B final at 2009 World Championships.

favorite paddler? why?

I don’t have a favorite paddler but I respect fast paddlers like Idem, Kovacs and Wagner. They dominate women kayaking for such a long time.

what do you do when you are not paddling?

I study environmental technology and I work one day a week. I love spending time with my husband. I also do other sports and of course like shopping.
